Our (2-day) Ephesus & Pamukkale Tour is an opportunity to understand culture, customs and countryside of Turkey from a close quarter. During this 600 Km incredible journey spread over two days, you have an excellent time to unravel exciting Aegean region in Turkey. This all-exciting 2-day tour includes a trip to the ancient city site of Ephesus, the House of Virgin Mary on the first day and Pamukkale, and its surroundings of Hierapolis and Necropolis on the second day.
Ephesus & Pamukkale Tour (Day 1)
On the first day of the excursion is largely concentrated on the ancient city of Ephesus. Having a tour guide by your side is an added highlight of the trip, this helps you fill in the void moments during the travel. With mysterious stories of kings and people who lived centuries ago in the ancient city of Ephesus, and the most relevant know-how, our tour guides are eager to present you a memorable tour experience. After the Ephesus tour, a luscious lunch awaits you and your family at one of our best restaurants in the small but attractive town of Selcuk. The lunch comes included in the tour package. Later on, 1 hour free time in Selçuk or visiting the famous shrine of the House of Virgin Mary.
By late afternoon, we move to Pamukkale where you are welcomed by the crew at one of our three-star hotels. We arrange here for your refreshments and for the comfortable stay overnight. With green lawns and swimming pools, and Jacuzzi baths in the garden the hotel houses the most modern of the amenities. Relish a delicious royal buffet dinner at the hotel and rest well the night.
Ephesus & Pamukkale Tour (Day 2)
The next morning, be ready to move over to Pamukkale after a refreshing breakfast at the hotel. By now you might have come to know the secret behind having a two day trip – “less travel against more time for dventure.” At Pamukkale the astonishing calcite depositions welcome you. Marked by slow moving water streams, this Nature Park has been declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Hierapolis. It is has been scientifically proved that it takes about 14,000 years for such constant flow of water to build up marvelous looking depositions of calcium, these are called as travertine. Not far from Pamukkale is the Necropolis, the ancient cemetery and Hierapolis the ancient ‘Holy City’.
Upon our arrival at Pamukkale, the tour guide explains every detail about Pamukkale you ask him with. During the tour, you are allowed to have 3 hours of free-time to explore the area on your own. You can decide upon how to use this 3 hours free-time. You can walk on the white cliffs of Pamukkale and a take nice warm bath. Perhaps you can visit the historical remains of Hierapolis & Necropolis, or enjoy swimming in the famous Cleopatra’s Pool. You can try these entire options one after the other. After spending exploring Pamukkale and its exciting surroundings, you are served a sumptuous meal, and this is followed by the return trip to Marmaris.
