Turunc is just 20 Km from the renowned resort town of Marmaris, but a visit to this mesmerising village takes you to another world. An erstwhile small, fishing and sleepy village, Turunc has now developed as an ideal destination with a different appeal. The village is so small that one can walk from one end to the other end in about half an hour! This place has plenty of restaurants and accommodations. However, being a small village Turunc avoids large crowds and is relatively calmer than the larger resort places in the region. In spite of the recent development works and busy tourist activities, Turunc has maintained its relaxed atmosphere and the ‘laid back’ way of life.
